The National Association of Computer Science Students (NACOSS) at the Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny, has conducted its first-ever departmental elections, marking a new chapter in student leadership within the institution.

The elections, held on Monday, August 18, 2025, provided a platform for contestants to present their manifestos, emphasizing the central role of computer science in driving global innovation through ICT. Candidates pledged to strengthen the department and prepare it as a foundation for future leaders.

At the conclusion of the democratic exercise, student leaders were elected into various offices for the 2025/2026 academic session with a collective vision of advancing the department.
