Nasarawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia, Mourns the Passing of its Pioneer Provost, Mr. Solomon Zari

The Nasarawa State College of Nursing Sciences, Lafia, has lost its pioneer Provost, Mr. Solomon Zari, who passed away on Sunday in Abuja, weeks after undergoing a kidney transplant. The Nasarawa State Ministry of Health confirmed Zari's demise and prayed for the repose of his soul.

Zari, a seasoned registered nurse, educator, and administrator from Keffi Local Government Area, was appointed Provost of the college by Governor Abdullahi Sule in May 2023. He attended the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), and Government College Keffi, graduating in 1984.
