Nasarawa State University VC Receives Hon. Beni Lar to Assess Progress at Solomon Lar Institute

On Tuesday, March 19th, 2024, the Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, warmly welcomed Hon. Beni Lar, former member of the House of Representatives, to the university premises.

Hon. Beni Lar's visit was aimed at assessing the progress of ongoing work at the Solomon Lar Institute for Leadership and Vocational Studies. This institute, constructed and donated by the Solomon and Mary Lar Foundation, represents a significant initiative towards advancing leadership and vocational education in the region.

During her visit, Hon. Beni Lar also took the opportunity to express her condolences and sympathies to the university management over the recent loss of Professor Sam Baba Tende, the Director of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre. Alongside principal officers of the university, she attended a solemn service of songs organized in honor of the late Professor Tende at the convocation square of the university.
