The latest adjustment represents a slight increase compared to the previous session, when new intakes paid ₦151,000. The increment has been attributed to rising costs of maintenance, equipment servicing, and essential student services within the university.

It was further stated that the new fee structure applies only to newly admitted students, while returning students are to continue with their previously approved charges.

Meanwhile, the development has sparked mixed reactions among students and parents—some expressing concern over the current economic situation, while others described the increment as modest compared to tuition adjustments recently introduced in other universities across the country.
