The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has issued a call to all applicants facing challenges with the student loan application process to reapply, stating that technical issues with the website have been fixed.

Reports have been circulating about difficulties faced by applicants trying to register and apply for the loan. Some students have also voiced their disappointment as their institutions have not been included in the system, leading to them missing out on the benefits of the student loan program.

In a statement released via its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, NELFUND assured students that all website-related issues have been resolved. It urged students to revisit the portal and submit their applications again.

NELFUND’s statement read, “If you have encountered challenges with the application process, please check back to either re-register or continue the application process. The technical issues have been resolved. You may also have received an SMS or email from NELFUND calling for you to try again. If you are successful when you retry, please let us know. If not, please reach out to us.”
