New FULafia VC Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida Calls for Reconciliation and Institutional Unity

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia ), Prof. Mohammed Isa Kida, has called for unity and renewed commitment to academic excellence during a meeting with members of the FULafia Professors’ Forum.

The meeting, held at the University’s Old Senate Chamber, focused on fostering cooperation and strengthening institutional values.

For Kida, the meeting was his first as Vice-Chancellor of FULafia.

He urged institution's professors to embrace reconciliation, forgive past grievances and avoid personal conflicts that could hinder the University’s development.

He emphasised that mutual respect, shared responsibility and collaboration "are vital to building a harmonious academic environment."

The vice-chancellor reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to excellence in teaching, research and community service, expressing his confidence in sustained development through collective support and effort.
