Newgate College of Health Technology continued its 10th-year anniversary celebrations with a vibrant Cultural Day event, showcasing the rich diversity of its student body. Held at the college premises, the celebration featured a kaleidoscope of cultural performances, traditional attire, and cuisine from various ethnic groups.

The event was attended by students, staff, faculty, and members of the Newgate Family, including the Founder of the College, Mall. Hassan Nuhu; the Chairman of the Governing Council, Mal. Muhammad Dattijo Usman FNIPR; and other Council members. The Vice Chancellor of Newgate University Minna, Prof. Yusuf Sadiq, along with the institution's management, staff, and students, experienced the joy of this historic occasion.

Queendaline Opara Iwuala, Provost of the institution, expressed pride in the celebration, stating, "We're proud to celebrate our students' diverse backgrounds and traditions. This event embodies the college's spirit of unity and shared purpose."

The Cultural Day reinforced Newgate College's commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and community engagement. The anniversary festivities will continue with the commissioning of the college's new Administrative Block by the Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba, on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The day will also feature a Pre-Convocation lecture at the Newgate University Minna Auditorium, with Dr. Abdullahi Usman from the Department of Nursing Science at Bayero University Kano as the guest speaker, alongside other experienced panelists. 

The ongoing anniversary celebrations highlight the college's achievements and contributions to healthcare education, emphasizing its dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
