In response to the economic challenges brought about by the removal of fuel subsidy, Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has taken decisive steps to ease financial burdens on families. The Governor has approved a significant 50 percent reduction in registration fees for all students at Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna.
According to a statement issued by Professor Muhammed Yahaya Kuta, the Pro-Chancellor of Abdulkadir Kure University, the fee reduction is aimed at alleviating the financial strain faced by students and their parents. This reduction applies to all regular courses for the ongoing 2023/2024 academic session.

Governor Bago emphasized that the decision aims to mitigate the impact of the current economic challenges on students and families across Niger State.
