- *Borno State University*: ₦120,603,600.00 (North East)
- *Federal University of Technology*, Babura, Jigawa State: ₦116,103,000.00 (North West)
- *Yobe State University*: ₦112,626,297.00 (North East)
- *Lagos State University*: ₦112,057,000.00 (South West)
- *University of Ilesa*, Osun State: ₦197,141,000.00 (South West)
- *University of Cross Rivers*, Cross Rivers State: ₦98,155,000.00 (South South)
Other universities that received funding include Federal University Wukari, Taraba State; Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ekiti; and Ladoke Akintola University, Oyo State.
