In a remarkable display of academic prowess, Chibueze Elisha King, a Nigerian student hailing from Imo State, has clinched the title of the best graduating student in his department and faculty at the prestigious Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) in Cyprus, Europe. His outstanding achievement is marked by a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.0/4.0 in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Chibueze's journey to success was riddled with challenges, including financial difficulties, language barriers, and cultural differences. However, driven by his passion for engineering and the aspiration to bring pride to his family and country, he overcame these hurdles through unwavering determination, hard work, and faith.
Expressing his childhood dream of becoming an engineer and utilizing mathematics and physics to address real-world problems, Chibueze underscored his commitment to contributing to the development of his country and the global community through innovation and technology.
“I always had a dream of becoming an engineer since I was a kid. I loved mathematics and physics, and I wanted to use them to solve real-world problems. I also wanted to contribute to the development of my country and the world at large through innovation and technology,” he shared.
Inspired by his parents, both educators, and notable figures like Elon Musk, Albert Einstein, and Thomas Edison, Chibueze extended gratitude to his lecturers, friends, and mentors for their unwavering support and guidance throughout his academic journey.
