Nigeria’s First Lady and National Chairperson of the ‘Renewed Hope Initiative,’ Senator Oluremi Tinubu, visited Bauchi State to inaugurate an ICT center and educational facilities.

During her official visit, the First Lady inaugurated a community ICT Center constructed by the National Information Technology Development Agency and an Alternative High School for Girls supported by the Universal Basic Education Commission.

Mrs. Tinubu emphasized the importance of education and ICT in women and girls' empowerment, urging beneficiaries to maximize the projects' opportunities.

She reaffirmed her commitment to establishing more ICT centers nationwide under her "Renewed Hope Initiative" to enhance digital skills among women and girls.

Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir, commended the First Lady for including Bauchi in her initiative, expressing readiness to collaborate for further empowerment opportunities.

The Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, highlighted NITDA's commitment to digital education for all Nigerians, especially women, aiming to integrate them into the ICT revolution.
