Nile University Abuja Hosts Networking Event on Digital Transformation

Last week, Nile University Abuja held its highly anticipated annual networking event, themed “Navigating the New Normal - Life in the Digital Age.” The event, tailored for working professionals and executives, was marked by thought-provoking discussions and insights into the future of digital transformation.

The Vice Chancellor of Nile University, Prof. Dilli Dogo, opened the event with a motivational speech that set an inspiring tone for the day. His welcoming remarks emphasized the significance of adapting to the evolving digital landscape and the role of collaboration in driving progress.

Chioma Okoro, the CEO of Wootlab Foundation, took the stage as a distinguished panelist. Renowned for her expertise in digital transformation, Okoro shared valuable insights on how underserved communities can harness digital opportunities. She underscored the necessity of both government and private sector efforts in enhancing digital skills across the workforce. Okoro highlighted Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) as pivotal technologies with transformative potential, especially within Nigeria's agricultural sector.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Isa Ali Pantami, former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy.
