Delivering the keynote address, Yusuf Ibrahim Ohida explained how the core principles of marketing, including Product, Price, Promotion, and Place, can be adapted to democratic governance and political leadership.

According to him, the “Product” in politics should translate to good governance rooted in effective leadership, justice, transparency, accountability, and the provision of quality social amenities.

Professor Ohida argued that the success of any government should ultimately be measured by the level of citizen satisfaction, economic prosperity, political stability, and access to quality education.

He maintained that political leadership must increasingly focus on delivering value to citizens in the same way businesses focus on meeting customer needs and sustaining public trust.
