Nursing Council of Nigeria Conducts Successful Equipment Assessment at Taraba State University
In a significant milestone for nursing education in Nigeria, the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) recently conducted a two-day equipment assessment at the Department of Nursing Science, Taraba State University, Jalingo.
The assessment aimed to evaluate the university's compliance with council standards and its ability to provide high-quality training for future healthcare professionals.
The exercise was carried out in collaboration with the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), with the assessment team led by Mr. Muhammad Kabiru (PHCDA). The team commended the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sunday Paul Bako, and Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for their dedication to providing modern learning facilities for nursing education.
The successful assessment marks a major milestone in the development of nursing education at Taraba State University, ensuring students receive high-quality training and hands-on experience to excel in the healthcare sector.
