On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, the NYSC Kwara State Coordinator, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa Joshua, along with serving Corps Members, participated in the 2024 International Peace Day event organized by the Center for Peace and Strategic Studies at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria.

The event aimed to promote peace, tolerance, and understanding, aligning closely with the NYSC’s core values of national unity and integration. Mr. Onifade’s attendance highlighted the NYSC's commitment to fostering peaceful coexistence among Nigerian youth.
