OGITECH Rector, Dr. Abiodun Oluseye Inducted as Fellow of Institute of Local Government and Public Administration
Dr. Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye, Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria.

Dr. Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye, the Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Local Government and Public Administration of Nigeria. The prestigious induction ceremony took place on Monday, February 10, 2025, at OGITECH and was attended by distinguished guests from the academic and administrative sectors.
Among the notable dignitaries present was Dr. Mukail Akinde, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro. Dr. Oluseye’s induction serves as a recognition of his outstanding administrative acumen, which has been instrumental in driving several developmental projects at OGITECH since his appointment as Rector. His visionary leadership has positioned him as an exemplary administrator committed to advancing educational excellence and institutional development.
During his acceptance speech, Dr. Oluseye reaffirmed his dedication to the growth and progress of OGITECH. He encouraged students in the Public Administration Department to become members of the professional body, emphasizing the importance of equipping graduates with both Higher National Diploma (HND) certificates and professional certifications to prepare them for contemporary workforce demands.
The induction ceremony was conducted by Dr. Uche Okereke, the Registrar of the Institute, who represented the Chairman, alongside Dr. Oluwasegun Olabintan, the Director of Research and Development. Other esteemed attendees included OGITECH’s Deputy Rector, Dr. Oluyemi Odutola FCA, Acting Registrar Mrs. Sakirat Olajumoke Johnson, principal officers, Deans, and representatives from various departments.
