Oko Poly Rector, Rector Dr. Chioma Awuzie Undertakes Inspiring Stores Unit Inspection

The Federal Polytechnic, Oko, on Tuesday morning witnessed an exemplary demonstration of hands-on leadership as Rector Dr. Chioma Irene Awuzie embarked on an inspection of the institution’s Stores Unit.

The visit highlighted her unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of institutional resources.

Dr. Awuzie and her entourage were received by the Head of the Stores Unit, Mr. Wilfred Agbo, who conducted a guided tour of the facility. The Rector meticulously examined available stocks, assessed supply levels, and identified areas that required replenishment to strengthen the unit’s operations.

In her address to the staff, Dr. Awuzie commended their conscientiousness and urged them to maintain the highest standards of dedication, emphasizing that the optimal functioning of every unit is vital for the polytechnic’s holistic growth.

Mr. Agbo, in his remarks, praised the Rector’s foresight and proactive leadership, noting her timely provision of essential items. He particularly highlighted the supply of a large quantity of multi-purpose paper, which has greatly facilitated the production of examination scripts and other critical office documents.
