In a groundbreaking achievement, Oluchi Anthonia Umeaso has propelled Tansian University to new heights, emerging as the top-performing graduate from the Department of Microbiology with a remarkable final grade point of 4.96 out of 5.

This outstanding accomplishment was announced in a press release by Tansian University on Tuesday, following the 7-12th Convocation Ceremony held at the Umunya Campus in Anambra State.

The Vice Chancellor of Tansian University, Prof. Eugene Nwadialor, expressed his delight at Oluchi's exceptional performance, highlighting the rarity of such high-grade achievements in Nigerian universities. Sen. Dr. Victor Umeh, the Chancellor of the University, commended Oluchi for her dedication and perseverance, emphasizing the significant effort she invested to attain this milestone.

Sir Udechukwu presented her with a generous scholarship of One million Naira (N1,000,000), while Chief Okonkwo offered her a Masters Degree scholarship to pursue further studies in prestigious universities in the U.K., Canada, or the U.S.A.
