OWSD Nigeria to Host 7th Biennial International Conference on Scientific and Technological Sustainability
The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) Nigeria National Chapter has announced its 7th Biennial International Conference, themed “Fostering a Culture of Scientific and Technological Sustainability.”
The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) Nigeria National Chapter has announced its 7th Biennial International Conference, themed “Fostering a Culture of Scientific and Technological Sustainability.” The prestigious event will be held from July 6 to 10, 2025, at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Auditorium.
The conference aims to tackle critical global challenges and promote sustainable development through nine sub-themes, which include Smart Agriculture and Food Security, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability, Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, Renewable Energy, and Gender Issues in Science and Technology.
Distinguished speakers such as Professor Chinedum Peace Babalola and Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi will lead discussions on fostering scientific and technological practices that contribute to long-term sustainability.
Researchers, scientists, and experts are encouraged to submit abstracts for presentation by December 31, 2024, while early bird registration will be open until February 28, 2025. The conference is expected to serve as an essential platform for dialogue among Nigerian and international scientists committed to advancing sustainable development.
