Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate, extended his congratulations to Professor Ogechi Adeola, a Nigerian-born academic, who recently assumed the position of Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the University of Kigali, Rwanda. Adeola's appointment, effective from January 11, 2024, was announced by the governing body of the university.
Before her new role, Adeola served as the Associate Dean of Business Administration at the University of the People in California, USA. Obi, expressing his delight on Twitter, highlighted Adeola's appointment as a testament to Nigeria's wealth of talent that can positively impact the nation.
