Officials from the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) recently visited Gregory University Uturu (GUU) to review the student scholarship programme and enhance collaboration between the two institutions. The visit was attended by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. C. U. Njoku; Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration, Prof. Uwaoma Kalu; and Registrar, Mr. Maliki Vincent.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Njoku extended a warm welcome to the PAP representatives, expressing appreciation for their visit and affirming that GUU provides a supportive environment for students.
The PAP delegation included Tony Okon, Assistant Head of the Education Department, and Ebimobo-Ere Borme, Student Registration Officer. Tony Okon addressed the PAP students at GUU, outlining key guidelines for their conduct, including avoiding cultism, examination malpractice, and illicit gratification. He encouraged students to reach out to the university management if they face any issues.
This visit underscores the commitment of both Gregory University Uturu and the Presidential Amnesty Programme to fostering a positive and secure educational experience for their students.
