Professor Obiageli Okafor Appointed Director of ESUT JUPEB Programme
Professor Obiageli Okafor of ESUT’s Department of Mass Communication has been appointed Director of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme. Known for her expertise in Public Relations, she will oversee the programme's operations and is expected to enhance its quality and impact.

Professor Obiageli Okafor from the Department of Mass Communication at Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) has been appointed as the new Director of the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme.
Prof. Okafor, an expert in Public Relations Practice, will oversee the JUPEB programme, which prepares students for university education. Her appointment recognizes her extensive experience and leadership in education, particularly in public relations and communications.
Hailing from Achị in Oji River, Prof. Okafor is married to Chief Hyacinth A. Okafor, a retired Deputy Registrar from ESUT. In her new role, she is expected to enhance the standards of the JUPEB programme and collaborate with universities and educational bodies to advance its objectives. Her appointment is anticipated to contribute significantly to the educational development at ESUT and beyond.
