Professor Solomon Makinde Appointed Vice-Chancellor of Crawford University

Professor Solomon Olanrewaju Makinde has been appointed as the fifth Vice-Chancellor of Crawford University, Lusada, Igbesa, Ogun State. His appointment will take effect from October 6, 2025, succeeding Professor Reuben Jiya Kolo.

Lagos State University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, congratulated Professor Makinde on his new role, describing it as a testament to the quality of academics. She wished him success in his tenure and expressed confidence in his ability to make a positive impact.

Professor Makinde is a former Dean of the Faculty of Education at Lagos State University. His appointment reflects his expertise and contributions to the academic community.
