Rector's Cup Football Competition Kicks Off at Federal Polytechnic Damaturu

The Students Union Government (SUG) Rector's Students' 2025 Football Competition commenced on Friday, set to last for an exciting month of matches.

The opening match featured a contest between the School of Environmental Studies and the School of Science, which ended with a score of 2-0 in favor of the School of Science.

Among the dignitaries present at the event were the Students Affairs Officer, Haruna Abdullahi; Chief Coach Ibrahim A. Muhammed; Assistant Coaches; and members of the SUG Executive Council, among others.

The competition is expected to be thrilling as various schools vie for the title, showcasing their talent and sportsmanship. The Rector, Dr. Ibrahim Bello Bashir, is anticipated to attend the closing ceremony, adding prestige to this exciting event.
