Redeemer's University Inducts 82 Nursing Students

Redeemer's University, Ede, Osun State, recently held an induction ceremony for 82 students who have completed their nursing program.

The event, which included an oath-taking ceremony, marked an important milestone in the students' academic journey.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, commended the students for their resilience and urged them to uphold professionalism, compassion, and integrity in their careers. He also charged them to be worthy ambassadors of the university and the nursing profession .

The Registrar, Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN), Alhaji Ndagi Al-Hassan, urged the inductees to uphold the ethics of the profession and be good representatives of the nursing profession.

The Acting Head of the Department of Nursing Science, Dr. Deborah Onisile, highlighted the department's consistent commitment to academic excellence, noting that the department has achieved a 100% pass rate in the Registered Nursing Council Examination and six consecutive successful performances in midwifery and public health nursing examinations.
