Six Students Involved in Alleged Murder at Federal University Dutsin-Ma Suspended

In response to the alleged murder of a 200-level student, Abubakar Nasir-Bard, at the Federal University Dutsin-Ma in Katsina State, the institution has taken the decisive step of suspending the six students implicated in the incident.

"The management of the university, on behalf of its Senate, staff, and students, expresses profound sadness, concern, and deep regret over the tragic incident involving some of its students. This incident resulted in the untimely demise of a 200-level Computer Science and Information Technology student, following an unfortunate altercation related to a female student.

The university's management has been proactive in addressing this unfortunate incident and is committed to ensuring that justice is delivered to all parties involved. Upon learning of the incident, the management swiftly constituted an interim ad-hoc committee tasked with investigating the case and providing regular updates to the university's leadership as developments unfold."
