Skyline University Nigeria received students from Prof. Hafsat Ganduje Science and Technical College

Skyline University Nigeria has hosted the final-year students of Prof. Hafsat Ganduje Science and Technical College on 15th January, 2024, for its changing gear program.

The program is especially curated to support students in making the right career decisions that will benefit their communities and the country at large.

Delivering the lecture, Mr. Adetunji Adelokun, a lecturer in the department of General Studies at SUN, said it was very important for the youth to understand the importance of learning life skills that would propel their career in the future. He explained that dissecting the nature of individuals is also required of them so that they can network effectively with their counterparts.

His lecture titled ‘Core life skills—personality development’ exposed the students to the necessity of adopting life skills for well-being so that they can be able to live an optimum life. He admitted that the students must be able to invest in themselves in order to unlock their potential and realize their capabilities.

He then advised them to ensure that they build confidence in themselves and take feasible risks so that they can go far in life. Some of the most important assets to personality development pointed out by Mr. Adelokun include managing stress and resilience, personal fulfillment and leadership.

Final-year students who attended the session expressed the maximum satisfaction with the conduct of the program. They said that the lecture would be useful for the next phase of their career lives and beyond.
