Professor Tahir advised that in situations where union members require clarification on management decisions, the appropriate step is to seek dialogue and understanding rather than resorting to industrial action. She reiterated that the management maintains an open-door policy and is always willing to engage in consultation and constructive discussions.

Also speaking, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor Aminu Umar Kura, emphasized the importance of punctuality and dedication to duty. He urged union members to place the overall interest of the university above that of their respective unions, stressing that the institution remains the foundation upon which all staff members and unions thrive.
