SSANU-FUNAAB Pledges Collaboration with University Management

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), has expressed its commitment to working with the university management to drive progress and development.

Led by Chairman Comrade Olugbenga Alayode, the newly elected SSANU-FUNAAB executives paid a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Babatunde Kehinde on May 29, 2025.

During the visit, Comrade Alayode emphasized the union's openness to dialogue and constructive engagement, highlighting pressing concerns and seeking clarifications on administrative and welfare-related matters.

The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the new executives, stressing the importance of mutual respect, open communication, and unity of purpose. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to dialogue, saying, "I believe in dialogue. Jaw-jaw is better than war-war."

Prof. Kehinde also urged the SSANU leadership to foster unity within their ranks and strengthen institutional cohesion, assuring the union of the management's responsiveness to welfare matters.
