Taraba Rep Pledges Support for Federal Polytechnic Bali

The Member representing Bali/Gassol Federal Constituency, Hon. Ja'afaru Chiroma, has pledged to attract educational grants to Federal Polytechnic Bali through collaboration with the Chinese Government.

During a visit to the institution, Chiroma expressed his commitment to boosting research and development in the polytechnic.

Chiroma, who is also the Chairman of the Nigeria-China Inter-Parliamentary Committee, promised to build a Students' Centre and donate medical equipment to the school clinic. He commended the institution's Procurement Unit for its transparency and praised the Polytechnic's growth under the leadership of the Rector, Dr. Mohammed Usman.

The Rector highlighted challenges facing the institution, including the lack of connection to the national grid and unpaid compensation for landowners. Chiroma pledged to engage with the Taraba State Governor to resolve these issues. The visit demonstrates Hon. Chiroma's commitment to supporting educational institutions in his constituency.
