Taraba State University Mandates NERD Project Upload for NYSC Clearance

Taraba State University (TSU) has issued an internal memorandum making it mandatory for all past and recent graduates who have not yet participated in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program to upload their final year projects to the Nigerian Education Repository Database (NERD).

In line with a new federal government policy, this measure requires graduates to visit any NERD-verified café to upload their projects and other necessary information. Successful completion of this process will provide them with a NERD clearance number, which is a prerequisite for gaining access to the NYSC Orientation Camp, starting with Batch A2 2026.

Uploading: Graduates upload necessary documents at a verified NERD café.

The memo strictly notes that failure to upload the required documents will result in being denied access to the NYSC Batch A2 orientation camp. Graduates are advised to check for verified cafés located within or outside the commercial area of the university.

The memo, dated January 21, 2026, was issued from the Office of the Registrar, Dr. Joseph U. Bibinu. For any challenges, graduates can contact Peter Yusuf Winnew in the Student Affairs Division
