Taraba State University Vice-Chancellor Honored at Muwanshat College 3rd Matriculation Ceremony in Jalingo
The Vice-Chancellor of Taraba State University, Jalingo, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, attended the 3rd Matriculation and Oath-taking ceremony of the newly admitted students of Muwanshat College of Science and Technology, Jalingo, earlier today.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied by the two DVCs, Dr. Reuben Jonathan and Dr. Ahmad Baba. Also in attendance were the Emir of Muri, Alh. Abbas Tafida, highly represented by the Sintalin Muri, Mal. Saadu Hamman. The Chairman of the Governing Council of the Institution, Dr. Garba Danjuma, and the Proprietor and MD, C.E.O Muwanshat International Ventures, Alh. Umar Yola, were also present.
The institution matriculated 256 students into degree programs affiliated with Taraba State University, Jalingo.
During the occasion, the Vice-Chancellor commissioned a multipurpose hall built by the institution and named after him to commemorate his significant contributions to the academic landscape of Taraba State and the country at large.

It can be recalled that Muwanshat College of Science and Technology signed some parts of a memorandum of understanding for the affiliations of its degree-awarding courses with TSUJ in 2022, and this is one of the positive impacts it has brought to the state's education sector.
The Vice-Chancellor, during his remarks, appreciated the management of the institution for their untiring efforts because there is a drastic change since the last time he visited the institution and their contribution towards the growth of education in the state and beyond its shores.
The VC was presented with a certificate of excellence by the Students' Representative Council (SRC) of the institution in recognition of his immense contribution to the growth and development of Nigerian students throughout his 37 years of lecturing career in the university circle.
