UDUS Renowned Paediatrician and Scholar, Prof. Hamidu Ahmed (Emeritus), Dies

With profound sadness and submission to the divine will, it is announced that Prof. Hamidu Ahmed (Emeritus), a distinguished scholar and pioneer in Paediatrics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University (UDUS), has passed away.

Prof. Ahmed, a former Head of Department and Provost of the College of Health Sciences, was a revered mentor and left an indelible mark on the academic and medical communities.

The janaza prayer is scheduled for 3:00 pm today at his residence in Sokoto. The family and friends of the deceased solicit prayers for his soul and request that Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal rest in Aljannah Firdaus.
