Undergraduate Academic Calendar for 2023/2024 Academic Session Released by FUTA
The mid-semester break is scheduled for March 14 to 16, 2024, with lectures resuming on March 18, 2024. The first semester will conclude with examinations from May 6 to 24, 2024, followed by an inter-semester break from May 27 to June 14, 2024.
The Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has officially published the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic session. The first semester is set to commence with the opening of the registration portal on January 15, 2024. Both fresh and returning students are expected to arrive by January 28, 2024, with physical registration beginning on January 29, 2024.
Returning students will kick off lectures on January 29, 2024, while the Departmental and School Boards of Examiners will meet in early February to discuss the results of the 2nd Semester, 2022/2023 Academic Session. Fresh students will undergo orientation from February 5 to 9, 2024, and late registration will be allowed until February 18, 2024.
