UNICAL Senate Reaffirms Eyong as Dean, Elects Ekuri as Deputy Dean PG School
The University of Calabar Senate at its 239th meeting unanimously reaffirmed Prof. Eyong Ubana Eyong as Dean and elected Prof. Pauline K. Ekuri of the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education as Deputy Dean Post Graduate (PG) School respectively.

The appointments as conveyed in separate letters dated 29th January 2024 and signed by the University Registrar, Mr. Gabriel O. Egbe indicate that the appointments are for a period of two years.
According to the release, the re-elected Dean is expected to build on the achievements recorded in his administration of the PG School while the Deputy Dean is expected to work in collaboration with the Dean.

This is even as appropriate sections of the University are being informed to accord both officers the necessary courtesies associated with their office.
