UNIDEL Holds December Prayer Session, Calls for Forgiveness and Repentance

Dr. (Mrs.) Mary Asabor, Guest Preacher at the event, delivered a sermon titled “Repentance, Key to Forgiveness as We Prepare for Yuletide.” She highlighted the need for Nigerians to imbibe the spirit of forgiveness to experience God's blessings fully. Dr. Asabor stressed that true repentance strengthens one’s relationship with God and fosters peace among individuals. She urged the university community to release grudges and embrace reconciliation in their personal and professional lives.
The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, in her remarks, commended the staff and students for their active participation. She described December as a month of love and urged everyone to practice forgiveness as a pathway to personal and communal growth. Prof. Chiemeke also lauded the Intercessory Committee for organizing the monthly program and acknowledged the contributions of staff toward the institution's development.
The university's Bursar, Mr. Sunny Ikeogwu, expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for her visionary leadership, which he credited with elevating the institution’s standards.
UNIDEL Prays, held on the first working day of each month, also featured praise and worship sessions and intercessory prayers, aimed at fostering spiritual transformation within the university community.
