UNIDEL Lecturer Wins State Award for Excellence in Physical and Health Education

Dr. Peter Oseremen Oboh, a lecturer in the Human Kinetics Unit of the Department of Science Education at the University of Delta (UNIDEL), Agbor, has been recognized as the best Physical and Health Education teacher in Delta State.

He received the award from the National Association of Physical and Health Education, Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD), Delta State Chapter, at their 13th conference held at the College of Education, Mosogar.

The award was presented by the State Chairman of NAPHER-SD, Mr. Godspower Modede, who cited Dr. Oboh's passion, focus, and insight as key factors in his selection. UNIDEL's Vice Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, commended Dr. Oboh for making the institution proud and encouraged other lecturers to strive for excellence.

Dr. Oboh praised UNIDEL's world-class facilities and equipment, urging teaching staff to be more passionate about their profession. He also highlighted the institution's bright future in sports and appealed to the management to reward staff and students who win laurels to boost motivation.
