UNILAG Celebrates Independence Day with Tribute to Athletes' Success at FASU Games

In celebration of Nigeria’s Independence Day, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) proudly honored the outstanding performance of its athletes during the recently concluded #FASULagos2024 Games. UNILAG athletes displayed remarkable resilience, teamwork, and skill, securing an impressive haul of 25 gold, 33 silver, and 40 bronze medals, earning 3rd place in the 11th FASU Games medal table.

"These are our champions!" the university stated in a celebratory message, recognizing the hard work and dedication that led to their success. The university also expressed appreciation to PUMA for its generous donation of vibrant tracksuits that showcased Nigeria's national colors, further elevating the athletes’ patriotic display during the event.

As the nation marks its 64th year of independence, UNILAG emphasized the unity and excellence represented by its athletes, who serve as a reminder of the heights achievable through dedication and collaboration.
