Our attention has been drawn to a trending online post inviting members of the public to a phantom "Free online courses" to be run by the University.

RECOMMENDED: University of Lagos Initiates Comprehensive Database Update for Physically Challenged Students

We want to state unequivocally that the University of Ilorin does not know anything about the so-called online courses. 

The post, sponsored by a certain Hosain's Online Service, is definitely another handiwork of scammers bent on fleecing unsuspecting members of the public.

It should, therefore, be ignored.
