The University of Maiduguri has officially presented new vehicles to three of its faculty Deans, with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, commending their dedication and service to the institution.
The ceremony took place on Thursday, 13th November 2025, at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on campus.
The beneficiaries of the car presentation include Professor Konto Adam, Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences; Professor Hassan Zannah, Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences; and Professor Abubakar Mu’azu, Dean of the Faculty of Media and Communication Studies.
Professor Mele, in his remarks, praised the Deans for their hard work and unwavering commitment to advancing the university’s academic and administrative goals. He emphasized that the gesture reflects the administration’s focus on supporting effective leadership, promoting faculty development, and recognizing excellence in service across the University of Maiduguri.
