UNIMED Offers Automatic Employment to Best Graduating Students

The University of Medical Sciences, Ondo town, Ondo State, has announced automatic employment for its three first-class graduates. Miss Francisca Ademulegun from the Department of Physiology, Miss Marcy Saba, the best female graduating student, and Michael Aremu, the best male graduating student, are the beneficiaries. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi, made the announcement during the institution's fifth convocation ceremony.
According to Prof. Fatusi, the institution is committed to supporting the beneficiaries in pursuing their postgraduate programs. He emphasized that the university aims to advance African herbal medicine and appealed to the state government for intervention funds to accelerate development.
In his remarks, the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, announced a N1 billion allocation for the construction of a senate building at the main campus. Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the university's leadership and stakeholders for their efforts in advancing medical education in the state.
