Dr. Kpenu explained that recent media reports and an online video misrepresented a campus altercation. He confirmed that the incident was a fight between students, not a cult clash, and that no students were killed or injured. The university’s security and police promptly intervened, and the students involved are currently under police detention.

The spokesman emphasized that the university maintains a strict policy against cultism and any form of violence. He reassured that normal academic and administrative activities are ongoing, and criticized the media for misinterpreting the event.
