The Management of the University of Uyo has announced the 117th Inaugural Lecture of the institution, scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

The lecture, titled “MY CHEST! MY CHEST!! MY CHEST!!!: Relieving Chest Pain, Preventing Death and Restoring Health”, will be delivered by Professor Eyo Effiong Ekpe (MBBS, FWACS, FMCS, FACS), a Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery in the Department of Surgery, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Uyo.
