On October 12, 2023, the NUESA Caretaker Committee engaged in productive discussions with the college's administration to address concerns regarding an increase in tuition fees for degree programs. Representing the student body, the committee fervently appealed to the college's leadership, urging them to find ways to alleviate the financial burden on students and ensure greater accessibility to education.

During the meeting, the college's Provost shed light on the tuition fee structure, clarifying that it was determined by the main campus and that the fees remained competitive when compared to affiliated campuses. In response to the committee's impassioned plea, the Provost expressed a strong commitment to reducing fees, even though the reduction may not be substantial. He assured the student representatives of the college's dedication to lessening the financial strain on students and provided insights into the ongoing improvements on the campus. Furthermore, he promised to provide students with an exceptional educational experience.
