University of Abuja Set to Launch Faculty of Communication and Media Studies with Eight Degree Programs
The University of Abuja is poised to elevate its academic offerings with the establishment of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, slated to become one of the country's premier institutions for media education. In a recent statement, Professor BASHIR announced that the university has formally applied to the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) for resource verification to offer eight distinct degree programs under the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies. The eight proposed degree programs are as follows:

8. BSc Strategic Communication
To facilitate effective administration and academic organization, the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies will be structured into four departments:
