The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Charles Esimone, delivered a compelling message to 10,707 graduands during the institution's 17th convocation ceremony held on Wednesday. Emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship, Prof. Esimone urged the graduates to take on the role of job creators rather than traditional job seekers.

At the ceremony, a breakdown of the degrees and certificates awarded revealed that 6,000 graduands received first degrees, 3,300 obtained post-graduate diplomas, 807 earned Master's degrees, and 600 proudly bagged Doctorate degrees.
