On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received a delegation from the Yoruba Community in UNIZIK at his office.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Prof. Ugochukwu Bond Stanley Anyaehie, received a delegation from the Yoruba Community in UNIZIK at his office.

The visit, led by the community’s President, Dr. Segun Adeniyi, was intended to formally congratulate Prof. Anyaehie on his appointment as the 7th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the university.

During the courtesy call, Dr. Adeniyi extended the association’s felicitations and pledged the Yoruba Community’s support for the new administration.

Responding, Prof. Anyaehie thanked the delegation and reaffirmed his commitment to an inclusive and non-tribalist leadership. He assured the community of his support for initiatives and activities that promote its growth within the university.
