UNN Students Express Concern as Course Registration Deadline Passes Amid Technical Hitches

Many students found themselves stuck in a virtual waiting room, unable to access the necessary course registration pages.

Adding to the frustration, several students reported that the website frequently "hung" or froze during the registration process. This not only disrupted their efforts but also extended the time required to complete the registration. This situation prompted an outpouring of complaints and concerns from students. Many expressed their distress on social media and through various channels, highlighting their struggle to navigate the website due to these technical issues. One student, who preferred to remain anonymous, shared their experience, saying, "I had everything prepared, but when I tried to register, the website just hung. It's incredibly frustrating, and I'm worried about getting the courses I need for my major."

Another student, Chinwe Okonkwo, lamented, "This is a crucial part of our academic journey, and we rely on the university's systems to work efficiently. It's incredibly disappointing that this happened during registration."  While the situation has caused understandable stress and frustration among students, it's essential to recognize that the university's administration is taking these concerns seriously. As the technical glitches are addressed and resolved, it's expected that UNN students will experience a more efficient and streamlined course registration process in the upcoming semesters.
