UNN SUG Announces Schedule for the 2024 Students Week

The Student Union Government (SUG) at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), has announced tge schedule for the 2024 students week university of festivities. From July 15th to July 21st, students can look forward to a variety of events and activities.

Day 1 (Prayer for the University): On July 15th, students will come together for a special prayer session, seeking blessings for the entire university community.

Day 2 (Trade Fair): July 16th marks the Trade Fair day. If you're a student entrepreneur, this is your chance to showcase and sell your products.

Day 3 (Old School/Costume Parade): On July 17th, students will don creative costumes and parade through campus, celebrating nostalgia and creativity.

Day 4 (Rag Day): July 18th is all about swag! Students are encouraged to wear their coolest rags and earn some cash.

Day 5 (Cultural Day): July 19th promises a vibrant Cultural Day with exciting activities including; Coronation ceremonies, Chieftaincy titles awarded, Fake traditional marriage celebrations, and Inter-faculty dance competition.

Day 6 (Jersey Day): July 20th kicks off with a jog from Freedom Square to the stadium. Expect games, music, and light refreshments at the stadium.

Day 7 (Thanksgiving): The week concludes on July 21st with a Thanksgiving service at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
