In a solemn and heartfelt gathering, the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) paid tribute to two distinguished members of its academic community who have left an indelible mark. The valedictory session, held at the Mallam Adamu Adamu Lecture and Office Complex on the Permanent Site Campus, was a poignant occasion dedicated to the memory of Mrs. Beatrice Peters from the Department of Visual and Creative Arts in the Faculty of Environmental Design and Dr. Job Prestine Migab from the Economics Department in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, was Prof. Victor Dugga, the Dean of Postgraduate Studies. The event witnessed the presence of principals, academic staff, and students who came together to honor the legacies of these departed educators.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Federal University of Lafia Chapter, orchestrated this meaningful event to commemorate the significant contributions of Dr. Job Migab, who served as the head of the Economics Department, and Mrs. Beatrice Peters, who made her mark in the Department of Visual and Creative Arts.
